I've rented from a lot of Hertz locations over the years and have come to accept the apathy shown by the majority of their employees as the "norm." That is until I met Frank at the Salem HLE store! He's extremely customer-service driven and constantly has his customers best interest in mind. The main drawback is the selection of cars at this location can be on the worn side at times (HLE's get the Airport second hand cars most of the time). However, if you value excellent service, you'll do well renting from this location.

It's an expensive place, often times they don't cars but it's reliable.
Be aware, the location seems to be very under-staffed and there are times when Frank has to run out to pick up a customer or get a return car so the doors are locked. Be patient, give the guy a break.
