I gave the following further comments. The menu doesn't list any prices which I think exaggerates any discrepancy between what is served compared to what is served. He asked what price I thought was fair for the food, which I initially replied $7 for the salad, but on further refection, I honestly think $7 is too high.

Big ice cream cone out side but only about 7 flavors and no cones, just a one scoop bowl. I thought strange. That being said, staff was amazing. I am in a power wheel chair and was running low on battery and they moved tables and chairs so I could be close enough to an electrical outlet. We ordered ice teas and they were very good.

I won't be coming back.

But here's the thing. While it has the makings to be the ideal cafe, it is far from it, and my past two experiences made me realize this. Aside from the food and drinks being ridiculously overpriced, there is just no passion. The people who work there are rude, and the owner, an older gentleman who sometimes helps out at the register, would do best to avoid working with the public at all costs. It also doesn't help that it has the air of a prison cell -- there are signs everywhere on what not to do (e.g a "staff only" sign at one of the most prominent tables in the cafe -- ever heard of a employee break room?) A cafe is supposed to be warm and inviting -- almost like a sanctuary. The people who own this place clearly only care about milking as much as they can off customers.

Excellent coffee roastery & cafe. A short walk from the tourist area of Salem. Great range of menu items. Welcoming & friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I lived in Salem for five years and this place was just up the street from me, so I would come here regularly for coffee -- more for convienence than anything.

Coffee is on point. Tastes so good and the pastries are fresh and crispy, cannot complain about it. At the same time, the team was not very professional. I would love to see more connection between them since some of them didn’t really know what they are doing. But overall, I would recommend it and I would visit again

Good coffee but the food is excessively overpriced for what you get.

The owner was friendly and did speak to us after giving the review.
